Equipment

  • 1 Ninja Creami Machine
  • 1 Blender or Food Processor
  • 1 Airtight Container (for freezing the sorbet)
  • 1 Strainer (optional, for removing raspberry seeds)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries or thawed frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Optional: A few fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Raspberry Base: In a blender or food processor, combine the raspberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water.
    Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Freeze the Mixture: Pour the raspberry mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, leaving some space at the top.
Seal the container and freeze it for at least 24 hours.
  • Process in Ninja Creami: Once frozen, remove the pint from the freezer and insert it into the Ninja Creami machine.
Use the Sorbet function to process the mixture until smooth.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Once the sorbet is ready, scoop it into bowls or cones.
Garnish with fresh mint or extra raspberries if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing, creamy treat!

Notes

  • Sweetness: You can adjust the sweetness of the sorbet by adding more or less sugar. Alternatively, substitute with agave or stevia for a healthier option.
  • Smooth Texture: If you prefer an ultra-smooth texture, you can strain the raspberry mixture before freezing to remove the seeds.
  • Storage: Store any leftover sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 month. If it becomes too hard, process it again in the Ninja Creami for a creamy texture.
  • Custom Variations: Add extra flavors like vanilla, mint, or other berries for a twist. You can also add a splash of orange juice for a citrusy undertone.
