1tablespoon– Fresh lemon juice
½cup– Water or fruit juicepeach juice, apple juice, etc.
Optional – Pinch of salt or vanilla extract for extra flavor
Instructions
Prepare the Peaches
If using fresh peaches, peel and chop them into small chunks, discarding the pit. If using frozen peaches, measure out 2 cups and use them directly from the freezer.
Blend the Mixture
Add the peaches, sweetener, lemon juice, and water (or juice) into a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth, ensuring there are no chunks of fruit remaining.
Freeze the Mixture
Pour the peach puree into a freezer-safe container. Spread the mixture evenly and freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight until solid.
Process in the Ninja Creami
Once the mixture is fully frozen, transfer it to the Ninja Creami bowl. Process it on the “Sorbet” setting until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency. If needed, run a second cycle for a creamier result.
Serve and Enjoy
Serve immediately after processing or store it in the freezer for later. For a garnish, top with fresh peach slices or a drizzle of honey.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness: The sweetness can be adjusted based on your preference. If you want a sweeter sorbet, add more honey or sweetener. For a lighter sweetness, reduce the amount.
Fruit Variations: Feel free to experiment with other fruits like mango, strawberries, or mixed berries for different flavor variations. You may need to adjust the sweetener or liquid amount depending on the fruit's sweetness.
Vegan Option: To make this recipe vegan, use maple syrup or agave syrup instead of honey.
Freezing Tip: If the sorbet gets too hard in the freezer, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to soften it.
