Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base:

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-3 drops green food coloring optional

  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips for even distribution

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare the Ice Cream Base

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, sugar, peppermint extract, and vanilla extract until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • If using green food coloring, add a few drops and stir until evenly mixed.

Step 2: Freeze the Mixture

  • Pour the prepared ice cream base into the Ninja Creami pint container.
  • Seal with the lid and freeze for at least 24 hours, ensuring the base is fully solid before processing.

Step 3: Process in the Ninja Creami

  • Once frozen, remove the pint from the freezer and place it into the Ninja Creami machine.
  • Select the "Ice Cream" function and let the machine churn until smooth.
  • If the ice cream is too crumbly, use the "Re-spin" function until it reaches a creamy consistency.

Step 4: Add the Chocolate Chips

  • Make a small well in the center of the ice cream and pour in the chocolate chips and mini chocolate chips.
  • Use the "Mix-In" function to incorporate them evenly without breaking them into tiny pieces.
