Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups 480 mL Heavy cream
  • 1 cup 240 mL Whole milk
  • ½ cup 120 g Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup about 60 g Chocolate chip cookies (or any cookie of choice)

Optional Add-ins:

  • ¼ cup Mini chocolate chips or any other add-ins like nuts or caramel

Instructions
 

Prepare the Ice Cream Base:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
    Whisk until the sugar has fully dissolved, creating a smooth mixture.

Freeze the Base:

  • Pour the ice cream base into the Ninja Creami pint container and seal with the lid.
    Place the container in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the base is completely frozen and firm.

Prepare the Cookies:

  • While the base is freezing, chop or crush your choice of cookies into small pieces. Set them aside to add later.

Process the Base in the Ninja Creami:

  • Once the base is frozen, remove the pint container from the freezer and place it into the Ninja Creami machine. Select the “Ice Cream” function and let the machine process the base until it’s smooth and creamy.
    If the texture is too firm, add a small amount of milk and run the “Re-spin” function until you get your desired consistency.

Add the Cookies:

  • Once the base is ready, turn off the Ninja Creami.
    Gently fold in the chopped cookies and any optional add-ins (chocolate chips, nuts, etc.).
    Use the “Mix-ins” function to incorporate the cookies evenly throughout the ice cream.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones.
    For an extra touch, you can top the ice cream with more crushed cookies, chocolate syrup, or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Customizing the Base: Feel free to use a dairy-free cream and milk substitute for a vegan-friendly version. Coconut milk or almond milk works well for this recipe.
  • Cookie Variety: Experiment with different types of cookies, such as Oreos, peanut butter cookies, or shortbread, to give your ice cream a unique twist.
