Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 13.5 oz each Full-Fat Coconut Milk
  • ½ cup Sweetener e.g., sugar, maple syrup, or honey
  • ½ cup Coconut Water optional for a lighter texture
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract optional for flavor
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice optional for a citrus kick
  • ¼ cup Shredded Coconut optional for texture

Instructions
 

Prepare the Coconut Mixture

  • In a medium bowl, combine the coconut milk and your chosen sweetener.
    Stir until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
    Add coconut water, lime juice, and vanilla extract if desired, mixing everything well.

Freeze the Mixture

  • Pour the coconut mixture into the Ninja Creami pint. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
    Seal the lid tightly and place the pint in the freezer for at least 24 hours.

Process the Sorbet

  • After the mixture has fully frozen, remove the pint from the freezer and place it in the Ninja Creami machine.
    Select the "Sorbet" setting and allow the machine to process until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Scoop out the freshly processed sorbet into bowls or cones.
    Garnish with shredded coconut or a mint sprig if desired. Enjoy immediately!

Notes

  • Adjusting Sweetness: Feel free to adjust the sweetness based on your preferences. Start with less sweetener and taste the mixture before freezing.
  • Texture: For a creamier texture, use full-fat coconut milk. If you prefer a lighter sorbet, you can substitute some coconut milk with coconut water.
  • Flavor Variations: Experiment by adding chopped mango, pineapple, or a splash of rum for a more exotic flavor.
  • Storage: Leftover sorbet can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Reprocess in the Ninja Creami if it becomes too hard after freezing.
