Equipment

  • 1 Griddle or grill pan (for grilling chicken)
  • 1 Knife (for slicing chicken)
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Large bowl (for mixing salad ingredients)
  • 1 Large spoon (for spreading dressing)
  • 1 Large tortilla or wrap (for each serving)

Ingredients

  • lb Chicken breast boneless, skinless
  • 4 cups Romaine lettuce washed and chopped
  • ¼ cup Caesar dressing store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 Large flour tortillas or wraps of choice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Croutons, lemon juice

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and any additional seasoning you like. Grill or pan-sear over medium heat for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked and golden brown. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes, then slice it thinly.
  • Chop the Lettuce: Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  • Assemble the Wrap: Lay each tortilla flat. Spread Caesar dressing over the center of each wrap. Add chopped lettuce, sliced chicken, and Parmesan cheese. Optionally, sprinkle with croutons and squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice.
  • Roll the Wrap: Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards and tightly roll the wrap from the bottom, securing the filling inside.
  • Serve: Cut the wrap in half, if desired, and serve immediately. Alternatively, wrap it in foil for an on-the-go meal.

Notes

Recipe Notes

  • Customization: You can add extra veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, or avocado for more flavor and nutrition.
  • Protein Substitution: Swap the chicken for turkey, grilled shrimp, or tofu for a different flavor profile.
  • Dressings: Experiment with different dressings like ranch, balsamic vinaigrette, or Greek yogurt-based Caesar for lighter options.
  • Wrap Options: Feel free to use whole wheat wraps, spinach wraps, or gluten-free tortillas based on dietary preferences.
