Ingredients
  

For the Apple Cinnamon Oat Bread:

  • ¼ cup salted butter melted
  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Kodiak Cakes Cinnamon Oat Power Cakes mix
  • 1 cup peeled chopped apples (about 2 small apples)
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup

For the Cinnamon Glaze:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature by the time your batter is ready.
    Grease an 8x4-inch loaf pan thoroughly with butter or non-stick spray, making sure to cover all corners.
    You can also line it with parchment paper for easy removal after baking.
    This step ensures your bread won’t stick and keeps the loaf intact when slicing.
  • Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, pour in the melted butter and vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt.
    Crack the eggs into the bowl and add the vanilla extract.
    Using a whisk or a large spoon, mix these ingredients together until the texture is smooth, creamy, and uniform.
    Take care to fully incorporate the butter into the yogurt and eggs for a rich, moist base.
  • Sweeten the Batter: Add the brown sugar to the wet mixture and stir until completely dissolved.
    This ensures the sugar is evenly distributed and prevents clumping in your bread.
    The brown sugar will add a natural caramel-like flavor that complements the sweetness of the apples and cinnamon.
  • Add the Dry Mix: Gradually fold in the Kodiak Cakes Cinnamon Oat Power Cakes mix.

  • Incorporate Apple Chunks: Carefully fold in the peeled, chopped apple pieces.

  • Pour and Level the Batter: Transfer the prepared batter into your greased loaf pan.
